About the Team


We have recently restructured parts of the organisation, and subsequently the HR team. So, it's an exciting time for us at the SIA right now, and it's a great time to be joining us, with many new projects in the pipeline.


We recently appointed a new Head of Human Resources and through this new structure we have created a number of new posts. The Role


This role is about putting staff members at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that staff welfare is reflected, and we take preemptive steps to help staff be the best versions of themselves, as opposed to waiting for advice and referring to a policy, we want to do the opposite. The HR and Wellbeing Partner is expected to be at the heart of each service understanding what services needs, and putting support in place ahead of being asked, whether its financial wellbeing, wider mental health training, coaching, or preempting any mediation problems on the horizon. The role will require someone that is a corporate partner not a business partner, with them knowing each and everyone of our staff, being there to support them, and helping them with HR queries as they arise.


This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and be an excellent team player. You be authentic, credible and who has a passion for creativity, new ways of thinking, challenging managers to get the best representation of their service.


What we are looking from you


Lots of examples of previous Employee Relations experience, but also wellbeing initiatives you have put in place. We are looking at making the SIA a greater place to work, and looking at your experiences, of what has worked and not worked as well for you, to really add value and make the organisation an employer of choice.


What we offer


In addition to an annual salary of between £48,250 - £54,500, the role attracts the following benefits:


Hybrid working - Given the nature of this role we would expect you in our Canary Wharf Offices - two days a week, dependent on operational requirements and typically the other three days at home.


Flexible working -We offer compressed hours, flexible working arrangements, although this role is advertised as full time we would consider flexible working or compressed hours.


Annual Leave - 27.5 days per year


Pension -An employer pension contribution 27.9% per year.


Professional Fees - Staff can claim back the cost of professional fees associated with their role.
