JOB TITLE: ICT Category Manager
LOCATION: Tower Hamlets, East London
PAY RATE: £350 per day (Umbrella)
DURATION: 3 months
IR35 STATUS: Inside

The client has recently insourced some elements of its outsourced ICT service with remaining elements of the service due to be bought back in house by March 2022.

As part of our ICT transformation programme, a procurement category specialist/category manager is required to lead the tendering of several core ICT contracts including; application support, service desk, hosting services, telephony, e-recruitment and finance system. The role will involve closely working with senior stakeholders within ICT and finance as well as other corporate services stakeholders to develop the optimum sourcing strategy.

Ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge and previous experience of tendering the above contracts as well as working within a corporate procurement environment. Excellent knowledge and experience of working within the Public Contracts Regulations framework and be either full or part MCIPS qualified.

The role reports directly to the Head of Procurement and has responsibility for two shared Category Officers.
