Our client, a South-London local authority, are looking for a senior delivery manager for their low code team to help deliver new products and support current products on their low code platform, Netcall. It is a full multidisciplinary agile team which builds products in house.


Works at the heart of multidisciplinary teams to provide direction and ensure they have the right environment to deliver their products and services in an iterative way.


Accountable for achieving product outcomes, by motivating and supporting teams, and removing blockers.
Has a deep understanding of agile and lean practices, and uses own judgement to decide on appropriate tools and techniques.

Adept at delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers for our teams and planning - both at a higher level and getting into the detail when needed.

A lynchpin, essential to the strategic delivery of our Digital Service, co-ordinating and collaborating across Croydon Digital Service and the whole organisation to ensure that all aspects of a Product plan - security, architecture, interaction and content design, user research , product management, business analysis, can be achieved.

Key Accountabilities and Result Areas:

* develop and maintain multidisciplinary teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well

* identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them

* focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services

* encourage and help with the continuous improvement of the delivery team

* coach and mentor both team members and others to help them apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques

* ensure the team have the right working environment and the tools they need to deliver value based on what users need

* help the team set priorities and communicate what is achievable

* keep track of and communicate the team's progress against targets and backlogs and adjust where necessary

* actively participate in the agile delivery manager community -learning, sharing knowledge and bringing in good practice

* regularly communicate the project status

* monitor and contribute to business cases

* effectively manage suppliers to get optimum value

* be part of a diverse, inclusive, supportive culture that stimulates innovation and

enables high-performing teams to build and sustain high quality products and delivery

Key Elements:



  • Working within multidisciplinary teams including Product Managers, User

  • Researchers, Service Designers , Content Designers, Interaction Designers,

  • Technical Architects and Developers.

  • Using agile methodology and GDS ways of working.

  • Working to the Local Digital Declaration principles.

  • Participating in and having work assessed using Service Standards.



Senior delivery manager for the CDS low code team to do the following:

Ensure;
� Delivery of the new LBC Customer Relationship Management low code platform by May 2022 and early life support from May to August 2022
� Delivery of the LBC web forms project from June 2022 - Dec 2022 � Delivery of any unplanned priority projects approved by LBC CEO / ACE
� Support is maintained for current live platforms By doing the following:
� work with the low code team, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well
� identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them
� focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services
� encourage and help with the continuous improvement of the low code team
� coach and mentor both team members and others to help them apply the most
� appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques
� ensure the team have the right working environment and the tools they need to
� deliver value based on what users need � help the team set priorities and communicate what is achievable
� keep track of and communicate the team's progress against targets and backlogs and adjust where necessary
� regularly communicate the project status
� collaborate with the senior product manager and tech lead to ensure resourcing elements of the low code strategic roadmap are correct
� monitor and contribute to business cases
� be part of a diverse, inclusive, supportive culture that stimulates innovation and enables high-performing teams to build and sustain high quality products and delivery
