Position: ICT Support Engineer

Location: Kingston

Duration: 3 Months +

Main Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Investigates and resolves non-core Incidents as required.

  • Gathers data and acts as a "safe pair of hands​" for resolution of core infrastructure incidents.

  • Drives up the "first time fix" ratio by documenting workarounds/ fixes to Known Errors and ensures their operation within the Service Desk

  • Administers IT asset documentation including hardware, software, and licences, by the use and application of strict Change Management and recording

  • Ensures that the service operates within the SLAs as agreed.

  • To develop, update and act on own personal development plan, and actively share knowledge and understanding with others

  • The installation, testing, implementation or decommissioning and removal of cabling, wiring, equipment, hardware and appropriate software, following plans and instructions and in accordance with agreed standards.
