Import / Export Administrator

Permanent - Andover

Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Salary from £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Our client has a fantastic opportunity, for an Import / Export Administrator who has the knowledge, experience and understands the rules, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities will include:

- To book all despatch shipments onto the relevant Carriers booking system, producing the correct paperwork

- Completion of customs entries (export and import) on company systems

- Work with Carriers to ensure the smooth transition of shipment to and from the UK including customs clearance, transport delays and paperwork issue

- To understand how to use Oracle to a level where problem solving can be achieved

- Liaise with external partners and government agencies to maintain the current Known Consignor levels held

Candidates must have:

- Import / Export knowledge and experience

- Strong communication skills both written & verbal

- Effective time management skills

- Ability to work as part of a team and also the ability to work on own initiative
