Location - Remote (Need to be within 35 miles of Leatherhead)

Are you someone who can monitor and influence change in an informatics/data/information environment regarding new software?



Would you like to work in an organisation that is not only extremely secure but also working towards the greater good?



You the Information Change Manager will undertake work to support the design, implementation and testing phases of any Digital or Service Re-design project and to analyse and interpret any output using data analysis tools as directed by the Head of Digital Information Services.



You will also monitor the external environment and identify changes that impact the organisation's information requirements and work with the members of the Information Services team to implement these changes.




Key Responsibilities



Demonstrate a level of experience working at a high level of project management and able to continue learning about ways to continually improve how we deliver services.



Deliver and understand the concepts within a complex digital information environment.



The role will suit someone who likes a challenge and who wants to drive forward improvements and help deliver better care to the people who use our services.



The role will monitor changes within the organisation that affect how we record and manage the data used within our data warehouse and reporting.



This includes changes in the use of existing systems as well as the implementation of new systems for capturing data.



Evaluate the impact that changes may have on the data we use and report on, and then where these changes are implemented, they will ensure our data warehouse and reporting take account of these changes.



For example, if a new system is being considered, the ideal candidate:



Determine whether the system captures data that is required for reporting.



Influence change, where required to ensure it satisfies reporting requirements.



Identify how this will be incorporated within the data warehouse.



Collaborate with the Information Services Manager to determine the best fit within the data warehouse.



Work with the wider project team implementing the new system.



Manage the change to accommodate a new data flow into the warehouse.


Monitor to ensure the change has been implemented correctly.



The same steps would apply to a change to the systems currently in use, to ensure a seamless implementation of change or development within the organisation.



Key Experience Required




  • Management experience

  • Information management / Information systems experience

  • Project management skills

  • Technical skills - An appreciation of SQL and how it is used in an Information / Business Intelligence space

  • Attention to detail
