Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Sales Executive


Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Full time



Job Summary:



Responsible for selling cloud-based software and associated services to primarily contractors in large infrastructure projects.



Job Responsibilities:




  • Implement business plans around the company work-flow/compliance software suite

  • Ensure that all commercial activities meet the agreed sales budget and other commercial KPIs

  • Attend client meetings to present company software suite capabilities to clients

  • Design and scope client requirements

  • Communicate clearly to engineering and software customisation teams

  • Lead the entire sales process in large infrastructure projects, including lead generation, pitching, scoping, demo, proposal, contract, negotiation, closing

  • Make customer visits to make demos and presentations in the UK, Ireland and Middle East

  • Advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate computer configurations

  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes



Key skills:




  • Highly entrepreneurial, motivated and self driven

  • Must possess excellent communication skills with a wide range of skilled professionals - from senior professional service clients to technical software development staff

  • Ability to formulate and present conceptual software ideas clearly in a client-facing environment

  • Comfortable managing the whole sales process from lead generation to closing

  • Team player

  • Previous experience in a senior commercial position in a Professional Services environment

  • Thorough technical understanding of a large construction project involving numerous stakeholders



Qualifications And Experience




  • University degree in engineering, ideally in construction engineering

  • Experience in a senior, similar role with experience from lead generation to closing in a process driven organisation

  • Demonstrable track record, skills and experience gained from a similar position in Software Business Development and Sales

  • Experience can be within Software sales, AEC consulting sales and/or adjacent sales fields requiring a combination of sales and engineering aptitude
