I have a new opportunity for an Innovation Manager to join a global FMCG company based from home. The European Innovation Manager will deliver the perceived product performance, innovation and renovation agenda for the brands / technology in Europe.

£180 - £200 per day

The Role:

. Innovation & Renovation Portfolio Strategy:

  • Contribute to build the role of innovation and renovation in the category strategy, brand strategy & plan together with the European Brand Manager, the Instore Activation Manager under the lead of the H&N European Innovation & Portfolio Director.

  • Define the perceived product experience performance and innovation strategy and pipeline for the portfolio

  • Assist and work together with the H&N Innovation & Portfolio Director to identify the key growth areas/key battles to tackle in the next 3Y, define the channels strategy for the H&N portfolio and how to maximize growth leveraging the existing portfolio and potentially recommend new brands.

  1. Innovation Management: Deliver the pipeline from A to Z meaning:

    • Role of the innovation project in the category + in the brand portfolio, proposition (insight, proposition, RTB…).

  • Product, packaging and design execution. Owns and leads innovation/ renovation and product performance projects from ideation through to post-launch evaluation and review to deliver winning propositions

  • Leads the ideation and development of winning concepts incl. prototyping, validation of the product/ proposition and differentiation across brands.

  • Owns the product brief to R&D.


  • Proven experience in a Marketing role

  • Strong brand management expertise, with track record in developing winning propositions & innovation

  • Excellent Business Acumen

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to navigate through complexity & ambiguity

  • Leadership skills and track record in collaborative relationship

  • Successful experience in local markets

  • Matrix organisation experience
