Inside Sales Executive


Location: - Hadleigh


Hours: - Full Time, Permanent (mon-Fri 8.30 - 17:00)


Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 + Commission



The company work within the packaging industry. A fun, vibrant open plan office looking to expand and take on an inside sales executive.



The role is to Maximize sales and profitability through managing new enquiries and prospecting as well increasing wallet share of existing customer base.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Prospecting: Identify, qualify, develop and secure new business.

  • Maximize sales and profitability through developing our existing smaller customer base.

  • Business Retention: Maintain existing business by working closely with sales support personnel (CAE's) to ensure timely execution of purchase orders, deliveries etc. Establish effective working relationships and become a sustaining resource for the customer.

  • Enquiry management; Responding to enquiries in a swift and clear manner, creating and sending quotes with price offers as well as following up on quotations. Promotion of all product offerings.

  • Product Knowledge: Establish effective product knowledge to match customer packaging needs and identify opportunities and possibilities in offering the complete package.

  • Value Added Resources: Utilize and maintain a thorough knowledge of the business sales resources and service divisions.

  • Promoting and selling new products through trade shows and events as well as keeping track of relevant industry events and ongoing product developments.

  • Fulfil the company's budgets and targets for your customer assigned accounts.

  • Adhere to the Company's policies and procedures, departmentally and companywide.

  • Processing enquiries/orders in our ERP system, Sage.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:



  • Consultative sales and prospecting skills with quantifiable support.

  • B2B sales experience involving complex, relationship-based transactions.

  • Presentation, written, verbal, listening and perceptual skills.

  • An exceptional level of motivation, desire, competitiveness, customer-driven focus, time management, organizational and project management skills.

  • Professional, positive approach. Thrive in a team environment, be flexible, supportive and work well with others.

  • Combine patience, determination, and persistence to troubleshoot client issues.

  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
