I am currently recruiting for an International Customer Co-ordinator to join a great team based in Liverpool. The company manage over 25 premium alcohol brands and with a product range over 100 labels, as well as owning Whisky and Gin distilleries and craft breweries across England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.


JOB TITLE: International Customer Co-ordinator- Permanent position


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-5pm


Main Purpose of role:



  • Working within international department.

  • To actively manage customer's accounts from accurate efficient order entry through active stock management to ensure deliveries are made in full and on time.

  • To minimise customer service problems arising from supply chain activities & pre-communicate these to the customer.

  • Process customer orders with 100% accuracy, ensuring customer is informed of time frame for delivery, and informing any delays due stock availability or country compliance checks.



  • Collation of all Export documentation.

  • Liaising with internal departments

  • Ensure compliance with common agreed Export standard operating procedures are followed.

  • Liaise with Export/Customs team to resolve issues regarding customer deliveries.

  • Raise purchase orders for transport/marketing and any miscellaneous International costs.

  • Process sample requests, ensuring correct customs documentation is sent

  • Provide assistance to other departments within Logistics, when required.


Skills and Qualification:



  • Customer service experience within FMCG business, working within logistic office, at least 2 year's experience.

  • Proven experience in an export shipping & logistics role

  • Have excellent organisational skills

  • SAP experience.

  • Customer Focus - The ability to build solid customer relationships.

  • Interpersonal skills - effective communicator with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Team working - The ability to work as part of a team in order to achieve the overall KPI's for the department.
