Our client are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join them in a brand new role within a busy team.

The role will be responsible for ensuring inventory levels for divisions in Europe are maintained at an appropriate level and ensuring that product is stocked in the correct facility to support the sales initiatives . To promote maximum utilization and yield from stock and to explore opportunities to reduce inventory levels and to use aged stock.

To carry out various inventory reviews ,reports and duties as appropriate around the group, including forecast reviews, inventory replenishment and stock management. Also to ensure scrapping policies and inventory guidelines are followed at all European sites plus India , Malaysia and China.


Ability to work alone or as parts of a team, self-motivation important

To have strong excel and IT skills and to have an ability to analyze, manipulate and extract data from varying forms. To create and present data in a variety of ways and able to do V look ups and Pivot tables

Attention to detail required

Good communication skills both written and oral.

Strong mathematical skills, conversions and calculations in mm , inches and to be able to calculate using density factors. And currency exchange rates.

Ability to resolve complex issues with multiple factors and departments

Previous inventory experience beneficial but not essential but analytical experience is required

Ability to read and interpret excel data and various customer formats.

To follow instructions ,meet deadlines and to adhere to working safety policies and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers, vendors or fellow employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
