Location: Redhill (near Croydon/Crawley)

Duration: 12 months FTC (possible extension depending on client) - FULL TRAINING GIVEN

Work Pattern: Mond - Friday 9-5pm OR 9-5.30pm - based in office (37.5 hours full time)

Rate: Competitive

Role Profile

The role of 'Service Desk Analyst' is to be that first level contact with the customer, triage their immediate issues and progress the incident by escalation if required. Working either face to face with customers or via one of our digital channels (such as chat or phone), you will be directly responsible for turning a customer's bad day into a good one!


  • Provide 1st/2nd line desktop support to users on multiple sites in the UK

  • Manage incidents and problems, working with escalation paths and always striving to find the best resolution for the customer

  • Assist in projects such as workstation renewals, server refreshes and infrastructure upgrades

  • Process business requests such as system access requests or new hardware

  • Contribute new ideas and insights on existing procedures and policies to drive business change

Personal Characteristics required

  • 1 year as 1st/2nd line desktop support role

  • Financial services experience desirable

  • Windows system administration (Workstation and Server), file server backups and data restore.

  • Networking Experience (Cisco switches and WiFi), patching and troubleshooting

  • Office 365

  • SharePoint Support and administration

  • Contact Centre administration (Alcatel, Nice InContact)

  • Microsoft Teams Support, including Telephony

  • Client hardware (Laptop/Desktop) management, troubleshooting and diagnosis
