Adecco Poole and Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting one of our local clients in their search for an IT Technician.

This role is an ongoing contract role.

The Role

They are looking for someone with current technical experience, excellent telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills to join the team as an IT Technician to assist in the deployment phase of this Project

Strong candidates, for this customer-facing role will enjoy helping others; will be familiar working in an ITIL support role; have current technical knowledge; good troubleshooting skills and impeccable communications skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will possess exceptionally high service delivery ethics and be comfortable and capable of working in a very busy environment, dealing with difficult situations.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced IT Technician with active IT systems deployment and support roles.

  • Expertise required to deal with internal and external stakeholder relations and communications required by the IT systems managed.

  • Career to date has spanned desktop to server/infrastructure support.

  • Actively embraced and quickly acquired the knowledge to support products and technologies as required whilst looking further down the technology roadmap

  • Experience of delivering IT service & transition, IT strategies, technology road maps, change management, business transformation, office relocation, IT upgrades and systems migration,

  • Focused, self-motivated individual with proven ability to improve performance and achieve objectives.

  • A people person with a positive attitude and diverse skills.

  • Team player able to use own initiative to achieve objectives.

  • Good people, financial, logistics and cultural experience to meet organisational challenges to achieve results by managing and working with teams at a strategic and operational level.

  • Familiar with the integration of senior stakeholders, project management and technical teams.

  • Excellent report writing skills and a very good command of the English language.


£9.31 - £11.18 p/h DOE
