Our client is currently looking for a qualified Joiner to join their team, mainly working on properties that need refurbishing, ready for resale.



Job duties:






    • Work with designers and planners on construction projects






    • Match materials to requested design specifications






    • Measure building materials and spaces for installation accurately






    • Assemble sturdy and well-constructed floorboards, skirting boards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and more






    • Incorporate fixtures like door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railing, and other fixtures into design and implementation






    • Build temporary housings and supports for setting concrete (shuttering)






    • Build the framework of a building, bridge, ship, or other large-scale construction project






    • Craft furniture with fine detail work and/or utmost sturdiness and quality






    • Utilise skills in other related trades such as plumbing, roofing, bricklaying, painting, tiling, plastering, etc (only when necessary)






    • Participate in first fixing as well as second fixing work






    • Combine carpentry work with joining work *Repairs and refurbishes existing building work






    • Replace damaged wood in hardwood floors and outdoor decks






    • Use power tools and other tools to cut and shape wood, metal, and other materials






    • Communicate with the rest of the construction team







Pay Rate:



Between £27k - £31k per annum dependant on experience (negotiable)
