Our Client who are a Chartered Financial Planners in Cheltenham are seeking an Junior IFA Administrator to join their busy team. Ideally you will have IFA Administration experience with a good knowledge of investment products, or hold administration experience within Financial Services. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their experience and be part of a growing company, and to work alongside highly qualified Advisors. You will work directly with one or more Paraplanner.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Acting as the first point of contact for all calls in the office, liaising with clients to confirm appointments, chasing important documentation, providing updates and transferring calls within the team.

  • Maintaining diary and upload documentation to an internal database as well as updating data on spreadsheets

  • scanning in incoming documents from post and distribute to the correct member of the team, also to ensure outgoing post is posted on time.

  • Client diary to be updated and maintained to track special occasions, ordering of gifts also.

  • To submit letters of authority to providers via email, fax or post, to obtain information regarding their plans.

  • creating new client packs in preparation for any appointments with the Advisor.

  • completing group scheme paperwork and assisting with data collection and applications.

  • Liaising with 3rd parties; Medical Practices and Hospitals to obtain medical notes and follow up invoices and payments.

  • Assisting the Office Manager with any necessary Adhoc duties.



Experience required:



  • Previous experience with IFA or Financial Services is desirable

  • Ability to manage a very busy and varied workload,

  • having a flexible approach to workload

  • Fantastic time management skills

  • high level of accuracy when data inputting



In return our client can offer annual leave entitlement of 25days +8bank holidays. working hours Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm. Due to the location of my client you will need to be able to drive and hold a full clean driving license, As they are not accessible by public transport. (Please note you will also be required to travel to another office twice a month initially increasing to once a week- based in outskirts of Bristol. )The client is happy to provide study support towards your diploma in Financial planning. contribution towards health cover, pension or protection on completion of probation along with 5% employee and 3% employer pension scheme. Regular appraisals and discretionary bonus can be achieved.
