This work will be underpinned by evidence and intelligence-driven approaches to help identify the underlying risk factors that can lead to violence, diagnose the problem and then assist in the development and the delivery of partnership plans and interventions to tackle them.

This post will be responsible for shaping and developing this area into the future and managing, motivating and developing the work or a Violence Reduction Analyst. The VR Analyst will develop and coordinate evaluation, analysis and understanding of data from partner organisations to enhance the understanding of the incidence and causes of violent crime, and to measure the impact of interventions to prevent and reduce violence. The VR Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analysis data and intelligence from a wide range of sources and be pivotal in demonstrating the overall impact of the project and Newham's VR Plan.
