up to £22,000 (dependant on experience)

Legal Administrator with legal experience required for a varied role with a legal firm based in Cheltenham. This role would suit someone who is looking for progression from a legal secretarial role or perhaps someone who has had a varied legal admin and cashiering background and is keen to progress. You must have excellent organisational ability, strong admin skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role where there is scope for progression. As a key part of a small team you will have the opportunity to use your initiative and become a valuable support.
Specific tasks will include:

* Carrying out PA duties; audio typing, handling telephone calls, managing incoming and outgoing emails and personal administration, as required
* Scheduling relevant dates in the Solicitors' diaries and ensuring reminders are sent
* Assisting the Solicitors and Office Manager with all administration tasks such as printing and saving emails, filing, creating court bundles and producing other documents
* Ordering stationery and other office supplies and keeping receipts
* Suggesting ways of improving practices

*Handling accounting queries from clients/ chasing clients for payment of outstanding invoices
* Assisting the Office Manager in raising invoices
* Opening new client files on the IT system and creating physical files
* Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience in a legal environment is essential
* Strong IT skills including MS Office
* The ability to handle a busy workload and remain calm when priorities suddenly change, is key
* Strong team spirit and flexible attitude
* Excellent attention to detail

Salary: up to £22000 plus benefits
