We are looking for a Legal Assistant to work within the Legal team and will report to the Legal Manager. You will be working for a small Company, so it is essential you are professional, friendly and polite as you will interacting with all members of the company on a daily basis. This is full time position working Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm based in London.



Responsibilities:


Providing administrative support to the Legal Manager and Legal Counsel in:


The preparation and maintenance of legal documentation.


Administrating the execution of confidentiality agreements for duediligence


information sharing.


Working with outside counsel in verifying counterparty execution


authorities and administering documents' execution.


Reviewing counterparty terms and conditions and identifying key


issues to Legal Manager or Legal Counsel.


Ensuring that appropriate Company Records are maintained.



Skills:


Organised and works with high standards of accuracy and efficiency


Ability to effectively manage priorities and work to deadlines


Analytical with an eye for detail


Flexible - able to work additional hours if required at busy periods


Responds positively to change and pressure


Punctual and dependable


Team player; inclusive and transparent style


Advanced understanding of Excel ,Word and Power Point.



Qualifications and Experience:


Previous experience working in a law firm or in the legal department of a company in a paralegal or consulting role


Any additional legal training is a plus but not essential


Knowledge of energy markets (Natural Gas, Liquids) or in the oil and gas industry is a plus but not essential.
