As a Legal Cashier you will be providing support to the accounts team to enable the accounts department to operate at optimum efficiency. This will include but will not be limited to the main responsibilities given below. You are expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.

Location: Liverpool

Role: part-time (2 days per week);

Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM

Duties include:

  • Managing all incoming post received for compliance & checking of bills

  • Identify and log breaches of the SAR's and to take steps with those staff to prevent further breaches reoccurring;

  • Daily banking, cheque payments and petty cash

  • Overseeing Telegraphic, faster and international payments

  • Liaising with business partners and customers

  • Managing customer's accounts & cases

  • Posting standing orders and direct debits

  • Oversee costs transfers and inter a/c transfers

  • Checking of probate distribution accounts and completion statements

  • Assisting with supplier statements and liaising with fee earners

  • Assisting in the absence of other cashiers in respect of sickness and holidays

  • Any other tasks that may reasonably be required
