As a Legal Secretary you will be providing support to the team & department to operate at optimum efficiency. This will include but will not be limited to the main responsibilities given below. You are expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.

Location: Chester

Role: full-time

Hours: 9:00AM to 5:30PM, Monday - Friday

Key tasks include:

  • File creation

  • Legal audio transcription and copy typing

  • Assisting with reception duties

  • Diary management

  • Filing and general administration, including incoming and outgoing post

  • Assisting with reception duties

  • Generally assist in all aspects of private client and commercial property work

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary

  • High word-processing and audio-typing skills

  • IT literacy

  • Confident and organised individual who is able to work on their own initiative

  • Great time management

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and case management systems

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail
