The Role


We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary for a firm based in Wilmslow.


Salary is £18,000 - £21,000 depending on experience.


In this role, you will be working to provide secretarial and administrative support to the conveyancing department with the aim of helping the team deliver great service to their clients.



  • Involved in all aspects of audio typing and digital dictation

  • Preparing official correspondence and legal documents

  • Diary management, including arranging meetings and appointments

  • Use a case management system to process and progress files

  • Daily filing, opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files

  • Providing general assistance to members of fee earning staff and other support staff.



Ideal Candidate



  • Fast typing skills with excellent grammar

  • Secretarial experience with knowledge of the processes

  • Proven administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and very good communication skills.

  • Process driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional manner and the ability to complete work to a high standard.

  • Experience with case management system preferred
