Legal Secretary

I am delighted to be working with an established Law Firm in Newcastle who are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis. They are undergoing a lot of growth and this particular role would suit someone who has experience working within a busy Conveyancing department.


  • Salary £20 - 24k

  • 5 week annual leave holidays which excludes bank holidays

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Audio and copy typing

  • Ensuring electronic filing systems are maintained accurately

  • Helping with general administration and supporting the lawyers to maintain high standards of client care

  • Maintaining awareness of client cases with good file review systems with proven organisational skills

  • Daily tasks include file opening and closing, diary management and maintaining compliance systems

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 2 years Legal Secretary work in a Conveyancing department

  • Candidates who can work pro-actively and independently when required

  • Candidates who are effective at multi-tasking and can prioritise important tasks
