We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Agency Team Leader for our client based in Newham. The post holder would be required to manage a team of officers carrying out designated duties within the range of services provided to housing applicants and tenants. Undertaking staff appraisals, ascertaining training and development needs whilst devising training programmes for staff. Managing and monitoring the performance of the team, monitoring targets, contributing to the setting and monitoring targets.

The range of duties carried out by the team could include: promotion of alternative housing options; support for vulnerable people; mobility schemes; allocation of permanent and temporary housing accommodation; investigation and verification of applicants details; determination of eligibility within Council's allocations policy.

Successful applicants would need previous experience in a team leader role in a Lettings environment.
