Lettings Negotiation Administrator


My client is a small, established asset management firm based in Gateshead who have recently embarked on an estate agency arm of the business. The company is now seeking a Lettings Negotiation Administrator who will be office based to assist the Director in administrative duties for the full cycle of the lettings process. The ideal candidate for this role will be a well-rounded, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with demonstrated experience in dealing with residential lettings and sales. This role is ideal for an established present/past Lettings Sales Negotiator who would now prefer an office-based role (no field travel involved) without the travel or conducting viewings. Duties and responsibilities include:



  • Assist the Director in the full cycle of the Lettings process, from handling enquiries, managing the phonelines, managing documentation processes through to tenancy commencement

  • To be a key part of the lettings and maintenance department by communicating with contractors and tenants

  • Planning and overseeing all maintenance carried out

  • Liaise with contractors to resolve issues and follow up to ensure completion of work in line with company policy

  • Liaising with utility companies and ensuring all properties are registered in a timely manner

  • Liaise to provide weekly maintenance reports

  • Previous experience of working within a letting negotiator/sales negotiator role within property management/estate agent company is desired with a strong administrative background

  • Experience of dealing with contractors desirable


Benefits and package include:



  • 18,000 - 21,000 per annum

  • Full time, permanent role, working Monday Friday 9.00am 5.30pm
