We are currently looking for a permanent experienced LPG liquid gas engineer to work on large industrial LPG tanks doing the installations and inspections.

Ideally you will have your own transport and live within an hours commute of Knowsley in Merseyside. A van and fuel card is provided and there are overtime and overnight stay allowances also.

You MUST hold a Full ACS Certification (desirable) and CSCS card as well as the below qualifications to be considered at all by the client:

"Reporting into the Senior Mechanical Engineer, the LPG engineer will initially work alongside experience engineers to undertake the technical installations and inspections of large LPG tanks.

Individuals must be prepared to work away from home for up to a week at a time. They must possess good communication skills and be able to react to situations as they arise"

Job Detail:

Carryout routine maintenance work at the clients storage depots

� Carryout maintenance and inspection work on industrial customer LPG plants

� Carryout on site installations of pipework, pumps, vaporisers and auxiliary equipment at customer sites

� Assist with prefabrication work and vaporiser assembly at Knowsley

Job Holder Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Experiences):

Full ACS Certification (desirable) and CSCS card


� LPG experience able to demonstrate ability to work hands on

� Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime as required in order to do so

� Self-motivating and resourceful to overcome problems as they arise

� Good communication & influencing skills

� Highly motivated

� A knowledge of LPG in both liquid and vapour phase and safe working practices

� Ability to read both GA and Isometric plant layout drawings

� A working knowledge of pipework assembly including flanged and screwed joints
