Adecco are looking for an experienced logistics administrator to join our well established client located in Meir, ST3 area. This is a temporary ongoing role for 3 months initially, but will potentially be extended or even lead to a permanent position for the right person. Full time, working Monday- Friday. Hours are as follows- Week 1 & 2 Mon-Thur 8:30am-5:00pm and Fri 8:30am-12:30. Week 3 is Mon-Thur 8:30am-5pm and Fri 8:30am-4:00pm. Hourly rate of pay from £11:00ph.



The successful applicant will provide an efficient, timely and effective interface to the service and sales teams and other departments. You will be responsible for service and sales order requirements and to provide scheduled/ non-scheduled service spares and sales order deliveries on behalf of customers. We are looking for a confident and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to be self motivated and have the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Duties will include-






    • To action and manage priority back order requirements.






    • To action and manage priority despatch requirements.






    • To liaise with the Production controller to establish manufacturing schedule for back order items






    • To action Proof of Delivery requests and feedback information.






    • Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities as required.






    • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.






    • Arrange and coordinate goods returns






    • To offer support and coordinate inputting and arranging despatch of Export goods






    • To liaise with external carriers/hauliers and arrange transportation providing the correct documentation to support the consignments.
