Responsibilities and Accountability




  • Support the Logistics delivery of increased volumes of sales.

  • Adoption and delivery against Departmental Objectives.

  • Maintain professionalism and excellence in Warehouse/Logistics office



Responsibilities



  • First point of call for Logistics phones and emails

  • Support Logistics Manager, supervisors and Logistics staff

  • Order processing

  • Department Purchase Order process

  • Order / Job Dispatch processing

  • Booking in jobs (System updates)

  • Supplier Non-Conformance logging and process

  • Liaise with internal team and suppliers on daily basis, both verbal and written communication

  • Department KPI's updates and management

  • Manage vehicle mileage process

  • Manage department spend and credit card usage

  • Royal mail order processing


Challenges



The most challenging part of the job will be to manage changing priorities, providing clear communication to the Logistics team, other internal departments, individuals and customers



Experience




  • Sound knowledge of logistics and warehousing processes.

  • IT skills; excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Influencing skills - managing peer group.

  • Problem solving.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Good understanding of scheduling & planning (manual & electronic).

  • Good MIS knowledge - Order processing, scheduling, planning & reporting.
