Adecco are delighted to be partnering with a company based in Brentford on the recruitment need for a Logistics Assistant who will be responsible for processing all stock booking, purchasing & invoicing to customers on a weekly basis. The processing takes place on SAP accounting software but a lot of the control checking takes place on excel so V-lookups and pivots are vital.



Main responsibilities



  • Responsible for stock processing, purchasing & invoicing to customers.

  • Processing DHL shipping documents on a daily basis.

  • Getting appropriate authorisations for further processing.

  • Processing on SAP accounting software - training will be given.

  • Highly motivated, with good work ethic

  • Focused approach to giving real assistance to the management team within the company.

  • Able to adapt to the changing environment within a fast-growing company.

  • Pleasant demeanour with a can-do attitude.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Good attention to detail with problem solving abilities.



Technical Experience and Qualification



  • Must have good Microsoft Excel and office experience - V-lookups and pivot tables.

  • Degree not necessary but must show competence in problem solving & logical thinking.

  • Ideally suited to someone with a logistical background.

  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, but training will be given.

  • Good personality and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and punctual

  • Able to deal with people at all levels



Salary Benefits and Conditions of Appointment



  • Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience up to £23,000.

  • 40-hour week (9am - 5pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch).

  • Holidays - 25 working days holiday plus 8 days bank holidays.

  • Workplace pension.

  • Death in service 3x salary.
