Logistics & Quality Administrator

  • 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

  • Salary £18,000 - £20,000

  • Immediate start available

  • Permanent role

The role:

Responsibility for the administration of Logistic and Supply Chain functions, reporting to Scheduling Manager, and administration support with certain Quality Assurance-related tasks, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Key Duties:

  • Releasing and raising of documentation to allow shipment of product

  • Generation of Sub-Contract Purchase Orders and Release notes

  • Generation of shipment packs and arranging of collections of released products

  • Communication with customers on despatch status

  • Processing of invoices to customers, via post and e-mail to ensure prompt payment

  • Maintaining up to date filing of records and ensuring system accuracy

  • Clearance of imports with external couriers

  • Liaising with Despatch, Final Inspection and Operations on items planned for despatch

  • Support for Despatch stock take activity and monitoring of Perpetual Inventory

  • Providing support as required with ad-hoc projects

What a successful candidate looks like:

  • Previous administration experience

  • Previous knowledge of quality or logistic beneficial but not essential
