  1. Knowledge and Experience





A good general standard of education, numerate and literate (e.g. GCSE passes in Maths and English or equivalent)


A good level of IT literacy, including experience of using word processing, spread sheet and email programmes


Experience of cataloguing or describing electronic resources, in a library or archive context, using an automated system


Experience of using Eprints, PURE or similar systems


Ability to locate and accurately identify appropriate information and citations from online sources.


Understanding of Dublin Core metadata terms


Knowledge of Library of Congress subject headings.


Knowledge of Library of Congress classification
