Adecco Chester are looking for an experienced and competitive retail Sales Assistant for our client in Chester City Centre.


A successful candidate will help customers identify and purchase products they desire.


Sales assistant duties include selling, restocking, merchandising and maintaining standards across the floors. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation.



This position is for 35hrs which is to be worked over 5 days. Applicants must be flexible with their availability and be able to work outside of trading hours to complete duties such as merchandising stock and processing of web orders.



Responsibilities



  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

  • Maintain a fully stocked store

  • Ascertain customers' needs and wants through effective conversation

  • Recommend and display items that match customer needs

  • Welcome and greet customers

  • Manage point-of-sale processes efficiently

  • Actively involved in the receiving and merchandising of deliveries

  • Keep up to date with product information and competitor performance

  • Accurately describe product features and benefits to customers

  • Follow all company policies and procedures



Requirements



  • Proven work experience in high end retail sales

  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment

  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

  • Proficiency in English and Math

  • Track record of over-achieving sales targets

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • Customer service focus

  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

  • Basic administration skills
