Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.00am

We are seeking a highly motivated individual ideally from the high precision and CNC machining industry to supervise and support the daily production machine shop activities. This is a "hands on" role where the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ability to plan, program, set and implement machining tasks on a variety of Fanuc Control CNC machines. A strong back ground in manual machining techniques would be an advantage along with supervisory experience.


  • Direct responsibility for execution of daily production activities.

  • Setting of machines for operators to use.

  • Ensure production activities are consistent with planned output.

  • Lead immediate countermeasure for production continuation in case of unplanned events.

  • Member of productivity committee to suggest & implement efficiency actions.

  • Lead & support appropriate cost-down projects for all purchased parts & services.

  • Lead efficiency workshops to improve productivity & reduce operating costs.

  • Support make or buy projects - business case to solution.


  • Ensure production output is respecting all quality & technical requirements.

  • Management of work in progress (WIP) according to planned production date.

  • Inspect parts with precision & measuring tools.

  • Lead & support immediate countermeasures, route cause analysis & corrective actions for all notified quality defects or customer incidents.

  • New part number introduction with validation of quality & production techniques.


  • Manage daily start-up & closure checklists to ensure all safety & 5S requirements are in place.

  • Monitor production, inspection, packaging & all machine operation duties.

  • Control & monitor machine settings to ensure maximum output according to standard requirements.

  • Support hour by hour & day by day production plan adjustments.

  • Lead & support the tool changeover process & ensure all standards are respected according to the quality & efficiency target.

  • Develop tool changeover standards to ensure knowledge transfer & team autonomy (as required).

  • Lead 5S workshops & audit of current zones.

  • Support all other business requirements as & when needed.
