We are partnered with a large, successful and growing business based in Mid-Kent. They are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a tight knit team based in a manufacturing plant. We are seeking candidates that have previously worked in a similar role and may have completed an Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship. This organisation can offer lots of opportunities to train, even gain qualification and progress within the organisation. The company has a family feel culture and really work as a team so would be looking for candidates with a similar outlook.



DUTIES:




  • Maintain all plant and site facilities to the highest standard.

  • Work to achieve plant downtime targets

  • Ensure all work carried out follows H&S guidelines

  • Responsible to ensure stock levels are maintained within the stores

  • Work as a team to continually improve processes and offer suggestions

  • Record all work carried out on the in-house system

  • Carry out repairs and assist with new machinery implementations always looking for the most cost effective solution

  • Offer support to the production team to ensure plant exceeds it's performance targets

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Time served apprentice experience would be ideal

  • Good H&S awareness.

  • Good fault finding skills.

  • Strong IT skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team
