Maintenance Technician

Role: Maintenance Technician
Banbury (working on-site)
6 months

In this role you will:

  • Service and maintain the existing plant equipment and building facilities

  • Installation and modification of new equipment and safety systems

  • Calibration of various equipment and machinery

  • Movement or re-organisation of production lines

  • Installation of services to support new equipment or processes

  • Assist with implementation of changes to manufacturing processes

You will bring to this role:

  • The ability and the capacity to understand a wide range of engineering functions and procedures for the relevant technology

  • The ability to work co-operatively and liaise with people at all levels

  • Good technical engineering skills and good practical skills

  • Self-confidence and ability to work independently and have good team working skills

  • Problem solving techniques and ability to work on own initiative


  • Experience working in a similar role, possibly from a maintenance or engineering technician background

  • Apprentice or HNC trained to City & Guilds level or above

  • PC Literate

  • Electrical training against 17th edition or above

  • Demonstrated use of machine controls, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
