£9.05 Per Hour

Temporary to cover Maternity leave until October

What are we looking for from a Marketing Administrator?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Administrator to maintain our current social media presence, email marketing and miscellaneous B2B marketing activities. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will be creative with a good eye for detail, an articulate writer with a confident telephone manner and a strong ability to hit the ground running. Working closely with Sales & Marketing director, the right candidate will be expected to maintain & grow current enquiry levels

What will your duties be working as a Marketing Administrator?

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Design & send regular e-flyers including company e-newsletter

Create & send direct mailshot campaigns

Create & maintain customer mailing lists

Co-ordinate telemarketing campaigns

Regular telephone calls to build relationships with cold/inactive customer accounts

Maintain social media platforms including Twitter & LinkedIn

Update & maintain company CRM system

Help to maintain company website, including generating content for news pages Write press releases when necessary & issue to relevant trade magazines to obtain coverage

Organise photography, including taking photos for news articles and PR opportunities as & when needed

Help organise B2B company events & other ad hoc marketing campaigns if required

What qualifications, experience & other qualities are required?

Degree in Marketing, Media & Communication studies, English or any other relevant field.

Experience of using Mailchimp email marketing platform

Experience of telesales & cold calling (an advantage)

Experience of using company CRM

Experience of marketing to B2B audiences

Ability to write for a professional audience

A good understanding of the major social media platforms & best practice

Strong spelling, grammar and punctuation

A highly creative mind set & ability to work with sales team when necessary

Ability to update company website via WordPress platform

Confident user of Microsoft package, in particular Outlook, Word & Excel

A keen learner with a positive 'can-do' attitude

The ideal candidate will:

Be highly creative and imaginative

Be comfortable in meeting any performance targets set by company directors

Have strong written and interpersonal skills

Excellent telephone manner

Work well both independently & alongside marketing director

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once

Be able to work well under pressure and meet copy deadlines

Have an eye for detail

Be a quick learner

Have a strong work ethic & use own initiative

Have a genuine passion for marketing

Show an interest in the laser cutting industry and U.K manufacturing as a whole

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (office based)
