Adecco Stevenage are currently recruiting for a Regional Marketing Communication Specialist, to work for a fantastic local company based in Stevenage. They are a leader in their field and are in a continuous state of growth, which makes joining them a very good opportunity.



Job Purpose



  • Report to the Team Leader Northern European Marketing Management

  • Ensure localisation of global marketing content, as well as creation of specific marketing content to address regional customer needs

  • Actively foster understanding and successful execution of interaction between Global Marketing Communication and Marketing Realisation in Europe

  • Be a quick starter to get the new Operational Marketing in the Regions function up and running, and demonstrate its value to critical stakeholders, i.e. the sales force

  • Facilitate communication locally with the sales organisation in conjunction with the MMR/Team lead

  • Take ownership of the local UK marketing functions



Tasks



  • Coordinate and execute regional/local event, content marketing/campaigns and social media activities

  • Adapt global marketing campaign materials and event concepts for all categories (i.e. Product Launches, overarching topics) to regional needs, including visuals and adaptation of content to local requirements

  • Leverage global frameworks for the creation of independent regional and local marketing campaigns and content

  • Design specifically required regional and local content marketing materials and social media activities

  • Adapt design of global materials to support sales force, e.g. battle cards for customer segments, or products

  • Adapt design of training materials for internal sales force, dealers, and customers

  • Act as a resource for the generation of English language copy for European campaigns and marketing collateral

  • Cross border support for the national functions of the northern European operational marketing team (UK, Nordics and Benelux)



Training, professional experience:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • CIM or equivalent qualifications advantageous

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and/or advertising, including working in small and mid-size teams

  • Life science industry experience desirable

  • International Experience

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents

  • Native verbal and written communication skills in English
