I am recruiting for a Marketing Manager for a global tech company to promote and drive the brand awareness, brand images and brand loyalty by multiple kinds of above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) plans that best deliver the brand values. And ensure all departments convey these messages in a consistent and unified way. You will be reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer and will be a key decision maker in the strategy.

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Channel Marketing

Overall marketing strategy such as branding strategy, social media strategy, public event plan, partnership etc.

Participation of customer's business negotiations

Competitors marketing investment plans analysis

Local media and public relations management

Daily Duties

  • Customer Engagement & Channel Marketing

  • Communicate with customers and it's marketing team regularly and be fully aware of customers marketing plan for different product & it's timelines and different projects.

  • Develop solid customer relationships on a daily and weekly basis which includes interactive meetings, conference calls and other engaging events.

  • Build and maintain profitable relationships with key accounts.

  • Resolve all marketing issues with customers efficiently.

  • Conduct business reviews using CRM programs where possible.

Marketing Strategy

  • Fully understand HQ's marketing strategies, regularly update reports/briefs for internal colleague's reference.

  • To understand UK consumer's purchasing preference via social medias and agencies reports.

  • To attend sales meetings (both internal and external) regularly and understand distributing partner's/customer's sales and marketing strategies and preference.

  • Develop UK marketing strategy such as branding strategy, social media strategy, public event plan, partnership etc. based on various projects with our distributing partners/customers.

  • To produce the UK's annual marketing budget plans in early stage of each financial year and make adjustments when needed.

Local media and public relations management

  • To establish media relations through local agencies.

  • To liaise with medias on a regular basis and feed relevant brand information.

  • To plan media and PR events with execution details and budgets provided.

  • To summarise brand media coverage regularly and update relevant colleagues.

  • To handle local brand PR issues according to HQ protocols.

  • To report any suspicious issues and ask HQ to follow up on crisis management.

  • To attend relevant local events (i.e. London Technology Week).
