Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, a Marketing Manager to join a successful and growing business based in Carnforth.

Salary £20-30K per annum (dependent on experience) + company performance related bonus

Our client's marketing team is about understanding people - and building awareness about how their products/services can satisfy their customers' needs. We're looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns. You will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. If you are a people-person who loves the rewarding challenge of building a brand, we want to hear from you. You will be looking after our client's 4 brands in which you will need to be extremely motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment covering general marketing areas.


  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments

  • Execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration

  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies

  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics

  • Using industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to create visual designs.

  • Understanding and interpreting briefs.

  • Attending management meetings to discuss expectations and desired outcomes of design.

  • Presenting draft designs to seniors/team for feedback.

  • Supporting the business to understand the impact of graphic design.

  • Working independendently and alongside our web designer.

  • Ensuring that design work is aligned with other methods of communication.

  • Working on a range of design pieces, from social media posts to packaging design and full-scale branding projects.

  • Solving problems for each brand such as helping them to communicate with their customers more efficiently.

  • Understand the commercial value of graphic design.

  • Measuring KPI'S and ROI's

  • Be an analytic person, able to use google analytics to understand demographics and measure campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing photography projects: Booking and planning photographers to capture case studies for digital and print advertising

  • Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-�facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets

  • Conceptualise and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer life-cycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels

  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support

  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads

  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly

  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

  • Publication ads (print and digital, monthly)

  • Brochures (print and digital, quarterly)

  • Email marketing templates including content and scheduling, must be able to use mailchimp and shopify CMS (weekly)

  • Branded Presentations

  • Social media ads, banners and graphics including written content, must be able to use hootsuite or similar scheduling app (daily)

  • Postcards and flyers (Advertising)

  • Web design (Banners, weekly)

  • Images for websites and blogs

  • Email Signatures (monthly)

  • PDF Rebranding/ Art working (Daily)

  • Packaging Design

  • Branded sticker designs

  • To expand and update Brand Guidelines

  • Copywriting skills with attention to detail, content writing for digital and print platforms

  • Creating interactive GIF'S/ Videos

  • Photo editing skills
