My client based in Cramlington are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their business. This position is based on a 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity leave whilst working for a very successful business with fantastic opportunities and benefits for the right candidate.


Role Purpose:


In this role you will be involved with developing and delivering the marketing strategy in line with the growth plans for the business. Passionate about building the company's reputation and developing new relationships you will develop and work with the commercial and the operational teams.


The role is crucial in building awareness of the company brand, including transforming our digital presence through improving SEO and building a stronger social media profile.


Main responsibilities:



  • Develop, take ownership and work with key stakeholders to create a strategic marketing plan in line with the company objectives, to drive the growth of the business.

  • Oversee, drive and support the company's marketing activity in both online and offline space, including the website, events, content marketing, advertising, partnerships and online digital channels.

  • Manage the company's marketing budget, ensuring funds are allocated wisely.

  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications (including ROI) and provide recommendations to the Board for future initiatives.

  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.

  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.

  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.

  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.


Person Specification:



  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related fiel

  • Proven track record of marketing within a B2B environment

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns

  • Delivering marketing strategies

  • Managing marketing budget and delivering ROI

  • Experience of digital marketing techniques

  • Creative approach to problem solving

  • Data driven approach and ability to create reports

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player and influencer

  • Entrepreneurial, independent, self-reliant and driven individual

  • Ability to work with the Senior Management team
