We're looking for people with direct marketing experience, preferably with a background in fundraising, and they will predominantly be working on direct mail, telemarketing and digital campaigns. To support the development and delivery of fundraising products marketing strategy and develop and manage complex marketing campaigns for several products.


  • Accountable for allocated campaign targets and relevant KPIs as set in the department plan, whilst remaining within strict expenditure budgets

  • Accountable for delivering in-year, multi-channel, through-the-line campaigns to planned schedules and budgets, including day to day management of agencies and suppliers

  • Ensure that the brand is accurately and compliantly reflected within all marketing activity, adhere to the brand review process and brand guidelines and collaborate with the brand division where appropriate

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in writing product marketing strategies by supplying useful and relevant information and customer insight

  • Monitor, forecast and report against campaign income and expenditure lines and advise appropriate actions to stay on track, mitigating and highlighting risks in a timely manner to Senior Marketing Managers

  • Carry out in-depth analysis of allocated campaign performance and apply to future campaigns

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of channel and campaign analysis, multi-channel marketing campaign delivery and working to strict budgets

  • Experience of agency and supplier management, internal relationship management and supporting marketing product/ campaign strategy development and delivery

  • Working knowledge of relevant regulation

  • Analysed results from previous and similar campaigns and used that information to successfully improve subsequent campaign plans

  • Written multi-channel marketing campaign plans

  • Delivered complex multi-channel marketing campaigns, (ideally with above and below-the-line experience) to budget

  • Successfully managed and motivated external agencies - ideally creative and media

  • Managed expenditure to strict budgets, forecasting over and under-spends within a financial year and escalating appropriately

  • Successfully managed internal relationships such that services were delivered in order to meet product and campaign needs
