We are looking to recruit a Channel Marketing Manager for a Manufacturing employer of choice based in West Cumbria.


Customer Specific Marketing Activities

  • Customer specific activity - To prepare, create and deliver all customer specific marketing activity. To manage all on and off line activities, including: imagery, assets, copy, website content, in-store POS, advertising, promotional activity

  • Activity planning - To manage the annual activity calendar of Customer requirements and activities. To monitor and report on activity within customers to provide recommendations for actions and improvements in our ongoing planning. To identify and investigate any further opportunities available to the company within the Customer space.

  • Customer support programs - Develop and implement all customer support activity in conjunction with the Sales Director and Sales Teams. Provide creative inspiration and prepare recommendations in response to requests from the Sales Teams.

  • Work with the Product and Brand Manager to ensure consistent and best practice representation of the brand and product range through our Customer channels

  • Communications with Customers - To best service our customers, develop an understanding of customer's business, people, processes and their individual requirements. To build relationships with corresponding contacts within our customers. Attend key meetings as required

  • External agencies - Manage and work with external agencies to develop Customer specific assets, promotional materials and communications

  • Customer Toolkits - To maintain information libraries of all assets available to support the company within Customer channels. Support consistent, best practice, on-brand communications at every touchpoint with the brand.

Event management

  • Annual event calendar - Compile the annual calendar of events and associated requirements for all Trade and Consumer events. Confirm attendance, stand space and requirements for the individual events

  • Stand design and build - Develop and produce the brand and product displays for each event. Maximise efficiencies and identify areas for re-use wherever possible. Manage the design, delivery and set up of display for each event.

  • Product displays - Manage display and sample requirements. Liaise with Sales Team to confirm product range and requirements, and direct NPI in correct set up and display.

  • Event communications - Develop the support, briefing and training material for internal (Sales Team) and external (Dealers and Visitors) attendees. Devise and deliver the communications plans to promote attendance each event, both internally and externally.

  • Management - Liaise with relevant associations and bodies to understand requirements for individual events. Handle day to day, sundries and ad-hoc requirements to ensure the smooth running and the professional presentation at every event. Including attendance, giveaways and catering.

Brand Management

  • Brand strategy development - Involvement and inclusion in the development of the brand strategy, proposition and presentation

  • Brand execution and guardianship - Development of brand guidelines, language and presentation to communicate the brand story throughout all channels. Managing consistent, on brand execution throughout all touchpoints

  • Brand asset management - Create and manage complete brand and product libraries of assets, content and activity to support best practice and consistency throughout all communications

Digital Marketing

  • Company website - Assist in the creation and management of content and assets for the website

  • Off site activity - Assist in the creation and management of content and assets for off site activity including: social media and paid activity

Collaboration & Internal Communication

  • Collaborates with the Marketing Director to delivery departmental and marketing activities

  • Collaborate with the Product and Brand Manager for guidance on events and Dealer activity

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to understand and deliver Dealer activity and requirements
