JOB TITLE: Marketing Support Officer
LOCATION: Home based initially, client based in Wandsworth
PAY RATE: £16.98 PAYE per hour
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 month rolling contract



Duties to include:



  1. To develop marketing strategies to businesses and entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on digital marketing strategies, in order to promote services, events and initiatives

  2. To promote and market advice services, events and other initiatives as required by the Enterprise Support Manager, ensuring good take up and attendance in line with corporate targets and service standards

  3. To maintain the business team's social media accounts - Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and assist with compiling business e-newsletters.

  4. To provide support in the day-day management of the Wandsworth Enterprise Hub - delivery of marketing and communications activities, uploading of articles and events etc.

  5. To assist with co-ordination with online events e.g. creation and promotion of Eventbrite pages, creating attendee lists, assisting with Zoom events etc.

  6. To assist with the promotion of events via digital platforms and social media.



Person Specification:



  • Strong understanding and knowledge of business marketing strategies, especially digital marketing strategies and techniques

  • Awareness of the requirements of effective business communications

  • Experience of marketing and communications activities, especially digital marketing activities, and development of the products and activities to deliver these in hard copy and electronic media.

  • Experience of supporting event organisation and planning

  • Demonstrably high level of written communication skills, able to adapt to audiences and circumstances.

  • Effective use of web-based newsletter tools.

  • High level of digital marketing skills, including the use of social media channels to aid business communications.
