Brand new opportunity for a experienced Materials Controller who will be responsible for specific manufacturing lines coordinating the material supply and consumption against standard work build stages. This role is based in Poole.


Job Purpose



  • Ensuring all material requirements are on line and readily available for the build crew to use. Engage with supply chain and planning functions to optimise availability.

  • The MC role is to direct and co-ordinate all line functions - supply chain, planning and manufacturing functions to optimise the consumption of scheduled materials and build plans against available materials.

  • The role will require strong communication skills and ability to influence and deliver in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ensuring all the business material control processes are tool box talked to key stakeholders and to act as a coach and mentor to the stakeholders until the processes are sustained.


Responsibilities



  • Coordinate and chair daily production stage management meeting

  • Audit key processes including auditing the process once implemented and to coach key stakeholders until its second nature

  • Audit the Materials Handover Process between DHL and Production and all required reallocation

  • Materials demand planning including auditing the process once implemented and to coach key stakeholders until its second nature

  • Manage the Stage Close Down process including auditing the process once implemented and to coach key stakeholders until its second nature

  • Manage the Reallocation of Materials process including auditing the process once implemented and to coach key stakeholders until its second nature
