Adecco are currently recruiting for Collection specialist driver to join our key multi-national corporate client. Working within the medical records warehouse at Luton and Bedford Hospital


**Please be aware this is a long term, full time position and a full uk driving license is required**













































CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that all outpatient areas on the collection schedule are visited twice daily (one in the morning and once in the afternoon) and that all patient event packs that have been made available for collection are collected, packed securely into cardboard boxes labelled with the collection area and are transported in a small wheel based van back to the Xerox Scan Centre for scanning

Ensure that all inpatient areas on the collection schedule are visited daily and that all patient event packs that have been made available for collection are collected, packed securely into cardboard boxes labelled with the collection area and are transported in a small wheel based van back to the Xerox Scan Centre for scanning

Ensure that all collected patient records are accurately checked in by SLA and collection point to "Day Forward Tracker" using a barcode scanner within 4 hours of arrival in the scan centre

Ensure that all urgent "red bag" patient event packs collected as part of the collection schedule are kept separate from the rest of the collection and are prioritised through check in

Ensure that all required daily deliveries throughout the hospital are completed including but not limited to; TCI and Pre-Assessment event pack deliveries to Inpatient Wards, Ad-hoc event folder deliveries, delivery of pre-printed event packs to the Orthopaedic Hub.

Report all issues identified with the responsibilities aligned to this role to Line Manager for resolution

Undertake all mandatory training as required by role, to include Xerox Business Ethics and Information Security training and any H&S/Trust training as necessary to maintain standards of service to current Health Records procedures and practices. This will include recording data quality on manual and computerised systems in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.

Provide absence cover where required for other members of staff within the Department.

Carry out any other duties that fall within the grade for this job.







































ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

IT literate

Clean driver's license



3



Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, including quality control of own work

Full and complete understanding of service responsibility and SLAs pertaining to Preparation and Scan of Patient Records

Ability to work to deadlines, prioritizing workload to meet SLA



6



Good communication skills -specifically face to face



7



Able to carry out a large amount of manual handling
