  1. To work with the team, Members, suppliers and other key stakeholders to develop first class membership service standards and work with relevant stakeholders to deliver continuous improvements.

  1. To liaise regularly with Members, meeting members both individually and collectively, ensuring that customer service standards are maintained.

  1. To manage and continues to support and contribute to the company strategic objectives. Ensuring that all members have appropriate representation on the groups.

  1. Attend all Category Group and other regional and national meetings as required. Ensuring the meetings comply with the agreed Terms of Reference and minutes are taken.

  1. Provide support and assistance to the Category Group Chairs to develop the individual Category Group, including planning and agreeing agendas and producing the annual report.

  1. Work with Category Group Chairs to compile all documents, including agendas, required for meetings and ensure distribution of these to the Category Group and Central Team members as appropriate. Produce minutes in electronic format for distribution, after being agreed with the meeting Chair, to the appropriate people/bodies.

  1. Work with the Head of Business Services & Membership to develop and review Category Group procedures and documentation as necessary to ensure the optimum performance of Category Groups.

  1. Work with the Head of Business Services & Membership to develop and manage a Category Group member support programme, including separate programmes for induction of new members, Chair and Deputy Chair programme and other support/training programmes as necessary.

  1. Ensure all documents and records are filed electronically in the central file directories.

  1. Be proficient in the use of all relevant Consortium administrative and IT systems as commensurate with the post.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Head of Business Services & membership and Managing Director consistent with the post.
