An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Training Coordinator to join a public sector organisation based in East London.


The purpose of the role will be to assess the training needs and requirements, develop, commission, coordinate and deliver training for all partner agencies on behalf of the Safeguarding Partnership.


The successful candidate will have experience of implementing and delivering multi-agency/single agency training programmes, with strong administrational abilities.


Key duties will include:



  • To work alongside the Safeguarding Partners to undertake a training needs assessment

  • Design, develop, plan and deliver training programmes by either delivering the training directly and/or commission specific training

  • To promote, publicise and disseminating training opportunities and information across partner agencies

  • To collect and coordinate bookings for the training events and liaise with the trainer/agency and delegate as appropriate

  • Identify and develop a range of evaluation techniques for both training outcomes and service developments to enable the collation and reporting of training outcomes and any issues arising from training and develop

  • Maintain a database of attendees and participating organisations

  • Develop and implement quality assurance mechanisms for training programmes delivered across partner agencies

  • Develop, implement and manage the training income generating opportunities

  • Complete and present relevant reports on training activity, training developments, feedback and quality assurance issues.

  • Work collaboratively to achieve the efficient organisation, administration and delivery of training and the maintenance of accurate records.

  • Ensure all agencies are aware of the safeguarding training available and the application process through the proactive promotion of the Annual Training
