An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a private sector organisation based in Dagenham. The role will be to ensure nutritious and delicious food is delivered to schools and clients. Focused on the local community and especially healthy eating habits and advocate of the healthy schools' agenda.

A qualification in catering would be an advantage or relevant industry experience with Level 3 in Health & Safety or Food Hygiene or educated to an NVA level 4 or equivalent experience. Experience working in both the cleaning industry and catering industry is essential.

The most successful candidate will have a proven track record of working at a managerial level to deliver Food and Beverage operations across multiple site, experience in dealing with high revenue clients and upselling a business idea, with a proven sales track record of tendering for new business. A proven track record of ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Food Safety requirements is essential.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working at managerial level to deliver soft FM operations across multiple sites, overseeing the performance of cook supervisors and site supervisors in a multi-site operation.

Key duties will include:

� Managing the day to day provisions of a professional customer led and responsive catering service. Collaborate working with schools to implement the healthy schools' agenda and school food plan

� Overseeing the performance of Multi-Site operations, to ensure the standards and service meets and exceeds contractual specifications and customer expectations

� To ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with company procedures and policies, e.g. Health & Safety, Hygiene Regulations, Food Safety, etc.

� Manage and prioritise the work undertaken by the operational teams, ensuring targets are set and performance management indicators are achieved and recorded

� Analyse and implement new service delivery models

� Ensure that all menus produced comply with the healthy school agenda and allow schools to obtain as a minimum the silver accreditation standard

� Manage provision of the catering services to schools

� Ensure that school catering is delivered in conjunction with the curriculum for excellent including the provision of healthy menus, including options for allergens and intolerances

� Ensuring financial performance is delivered across all client sites, through effective management of resources and regular communication with the clients

� Dealing with accidents, incidents and near misses and reporting of RIDDOR
