Museum Visitor Experience Assistant


Location: South Kensington


Salary: £10.50


Adecco is currently recruiting for a Museum Visitor Experience Assistant for an exciting opportunity to work at a world-famous Museum.


Our client requires enthusiastic, outgoing, and professional staff with excellent interpersonal skills and commercial awareness to work within their Front of House Visitor Experience Teams.


This role will commence from Wednesday 10th August and will run through until the beginning of September, covering the busy summer holiday period.


Please note -we will be holding an assessment at the Museum on Tuesday 9th August 1. Selected applicants will then need to attend training from Wednesday 10thth to Friday 12th August - you must be available all days throughout this week.


You will be expected to be available to work weekends and a minimum of three days in the week.


Previous experience is desirable, but a passion for providing an exceptional visitor experience is essential.


Responsibilities and skills required include;


To actively seek out and assist visitors, providing excellent customer service to enhance all aspects of the visitor journey



  • To inspire visitors' interest by sharing knowledge and information, and advocating all aspects of the public programme, offer, services and products

  • To achieve set individual and team performance objectives and conversion targets

  • To actively promote and engage visitors in commercial opportunities where applicable

  • To promote the programme of special exhibitions and events, including the Gift Aid scheme to encourage additional ticket donations and meet conversion rates
