Adecco Sunderland has an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company as field based National Account Manager on a permanent basis.  


The position requires a strong character with the ability to work under pressure and the role involves national travel on a daily basis with expectations of being away overnight on occasions.


Principal Purpose



  • To effectively manage and achieve sales growth across the customer base, in line with business objectives and overall company guidelines.

  • To own an account plan that drives strategy for a rolling 3-year period

  • To achieve set sales budget targets and overall business goals

  • Driving SKU profitability, promotional profitability and overall account profitability

  • Cost control and monitoring of personal expenditure



Key Responsibilities



  • To populate and update individual Account planning documents on a monthly basis as a minimum

  • Driving Account service levels to 98% using the Accounts measure

  • To maintain a database of account information containing: product range and pricing & margins

  • To continually develop in depth technical knowledge of product and marketplace
