A fantastic opportunity has emerged to join one of our housing clients in Leeds and Yorkshire as Neighbourhood Manager:

The post holder will be working from the office and have overall responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing services including Income Management/ Welfare Reform, Anti-Social Behaviour, Tenancy and Estate Management, Allocations and Voids, and Customer Involvement. Also, Inspire, lead, motivate, guide, and manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver an excellent customer-focused tenancy, income, and community management service that is accessible and visible and results in high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time post (37.5 hours per week, (Monday - Friday) and the successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of/experience in:

  • Lead on the development, and future shape, including recruitment of new members, of the Customer Scrutiny Panel. Members need to be developed to have the capacity to be involved and hold the organisation to account by being able to challenge through the Scrutiny process.

  • To deliver customer-focused Housing Services to the organisations existing and potential customers which achieve targeted levels of customer satisfaction, Value for Money, and maintaining customer service standards.

  • Lead and motivate the Team to ensure we manage our neighbourhoods effectively including Income Collection, Voids Performance/Loss, Anti-Social behaviour, and other general housing management functions.

  • Prepare and implement operational plans to deliver cost-effective and efficient housing management services.

  • Work with the Finance Team to ensure effective financial management and forecasting to deliver robust budget management

  • Ensure that best practice and benchmarking activities take place to continually improve services.

  • Ensure that service standards for the Housing Service is delivered and shaped and scrutinised by customers.
